Whether you're a beginner looking to build your confidence or a home baker wanting to refine your skills, this class will take you through the essential techniques of creating a delicious, beautifully finished cake from scratch.

In this 3-hour workshop, you'll learn how to prepare cake sponge, fillings, and buttercream from scratch, followed by the fundamentals of cake assembly and icing.

With just four students per class, you'll receive personalized instruction, plenty of hands-on experience, and practical techniques you can recreate at home.

What You'll Learn

Hour 1 – Cake Baking Fundamentals

• Understanding ingredients and their roles in cake baking
• Preparing a cake sponge from scratch
• Mixing methods, baking temperatures, and troubleshooting common mistakes
• Tips for achieving a moist, evenly baked cake

Hour 2 – Fillings & Buttercream

• Preparing delicious cake fillings from scratch
• Making buttercream and understanding the ideal consistency

• Torting and leveling cake layers
• Filling and stacking cakes correctly
